2013 Soccerween 1st Place Champs!

Despite temperatures in the 40s, rain, gale force winds, and sporadic hail, the girls came on top in their bracket after beating the Freeland Force 1-0 and Mt. Pleasant Extreme 2-0, advancing to the finals against the Bay Area Spirit.

The Kickers, who dressed as cats with leopard print socks, cat hats and claw gloves, came on strong in the championship game against the Spirit, scoring on a penalty kick early in the game. Goalie Olivia DiSanto stopped attempt after attempt on goal, and our girls put two more in the net for a final 3-0 victory.

The Kickers dominated all three games, displaying dynamic teamwork and admirable strength despite the weather challenges.
